Polish companies participating in foreign trade exchange are subject to international check procedures (eg. Wassenaar agreement), which supervise turnover of strategic goods, which can present threat for peace, safety, observance of human rights and basic civil liberties.
Companies taking part in integrated system of quality management should (initiate) Internal Control System confirmed by Polish Center for Testing and Certification (PCBC). It is the way to receive possibility to make logistic service including every kind of transport in international exchange of strategic goods.
According to criteria of acts at November 29th 2000 about turnover with foreign countries, technologies and strategic services to that group belong arms and goods of double employment. According this acts in mostly cases each company (also forwarder and transport agent) taking part in foreign exchange should receive (take) permission of minister of economy when transaction concerns one of following situation:\
- Export of arm;
- Import of arm;
- Export goods of double employment (out of UE, USA, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Japan, Norway, Switzerland and with exceptions concerning small group freight);
- Export goods included clause "catch all";
- Export goods for countries included limitation of turnover i.e. Cuba, Iran, Congo, China with Taiwan, Burma, Sudan, North Korea, Syria, Libya, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
